Many people feel their phone buzz when it's silent.

In a survey of 169 staff at a US hospital who carried pagers or phones, 68 % had experienced such phantom vibrations, 13 % of them even daily. It happened more often to those who carried the device in a breast pocket and used vibrate mode a lot.
