50kHzthe pitch of a tickled rat's chirp
The story behind it
Rats laugh when you tickle them.
They call at around 50 kilohertz, an ultrasonic chirp; humans usually hear only up to 20 kilohertz. A Berlin team confirmed in 2016: tickled rats come closer and make jumps of joy. When they are anxious, they laugh less.
